Saima Bukhari

Founder & Executive Director

A Qatari bred entrepreneur emerged graduated from Doha College and Stenden University, Qatar majoring in International Business Management to bring fill in the gaps. Her career as an fitness enthusiast began by launching Qatar’s first transformation program in 2013. Keeping within the industry, she brings to Qatar “The Alif Way” of living a sustainable, healthier lifestyle.

Collins Ochieng

Head Chef

Alif Café’s Head Chef holds a diploma in food production from Kenya College of Commerce and Hospitality. His passion and drive for the art of cooking, rewarded him with opportunity to work in various reputable companies such as Bin-hendi (Dubai) Azadea (Dubai) and Food-mark (Qatar). He has been a key instrumental leader in opening Carlucciou’s Mall of Qatar and Carlucciou’s Doha festival city. During his tenure, he has been recognized by Fact Awards for the Best Family Restaurant and Favourite al Fresco Restaurant.

Sijo John

Creative Head

Gastronomist, food stylist, culinary professional are just a few words to describe him. Drawing on his global cuisine practice, he is passionate about food that is nutritious, delicious and beautifully served. John’s focus on hospitality management, culinary arts and gastronomy developed as he graduated from a world leading culinary school of Le Cordon Bleu, Australia. His experience within the industry lies from Australia and East Asia where he was trained and worked for well-known brands such Sheraton, Hilton, Singapore Airlines and Personas Groups.
